This HSTORMB product is an independent M4605A-reference battery listing for Philips IntelliVue MX450 and MX500 monitors equipped for battery operation. It is not a Philips-made or Philips-approved battery. The model association comes from Philips documentation; the exact item offered comes from a separate supplier listing and must be checked against your original pack.
What the source photograph actually shows
The photographed battery is marked M4605A, 10.8 V, 65 Wh and “Lithium Ion Battery.” A smaller REF 989803135861 appears on the label. A pull tab and contact block are visible. These are observations of one supplier photograph, not independent electrical testing or a guarantee that every shipped lot carries identical markings. We have not verified that secondary REF against a Philips parts catalog.
Which monitors does Philips document?
Philips’ Focal Point instructions list M4605A for MX450 and MX500 battery monitoring. A separate Philips battery-use addendum specifies the M4605A or 989803210521 reference for battery-capable MX400–MX550 monitors. That documentation describes Philips batteries; it does not certify this independent replacement. The supplier’s original title also listed M8100 and other references, but we have not confirmed those as fit claims for this photographed SKU.

Check the monitor’s exact model and battery option, its service documentation and the label on the removed pack. Match chemistry, nominal voltage, physical size, contact layout, latch and pull-tab position. If anything is uncertain, send photos for a manual compatibility check before purchasing.
