ECG & EKG Machine Replacement Battery Packs

BATTERY MATCHING NOTES

Choosing an ECG or EKG machine battery

Portable ECG recorders and cart-based electrocardiograph systems may share a familiar model name while using different battery assemblies. Search by the longest, most specific reference on the equipment or old battery, then confirm that the listing describes the same form factor.

Do not substitute a pack only because its voltage and connector appear similar. Capacity, chemistry, polarity, temperature sensing, protection circuitry, enclosure dimensions, and revision markings should agree with the equipment documentation and the battery being replaced.

Details to verify

  • Full ECG or EKG equipment model and serial-range information when available
  • Battery service part number, manufacturer reference, and revision
  • Nominal voltage, chemistry, capacity, watt-hours, and terminal layout
  • Enclosure dimensions, cable length, connector keying, and mounting features

Common questions

Why does the model suffix matter?

A suffix can identify a different regional, hardware, or production revision. That revision may use a different battery even when the front-panel model name is unchanged.

Can a higher-capacity pack be used automatically?

Not automatically. A higher capacity does not confirm fit, charging compatibility, electronics, or safety. Use only a configuration supported by the equipment documentation.

Who should install an ECG battery?

Installation and post-installation checks should be completed by qualified personnel following the equipment manufacturer’s service procedure.

Equipment-maker names and part numbers identify reported applications only and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
